My method is to first lure the flying creature to attack me as I crawl back to safety. Then I wait for it to move back slightly to the position in the video, at which point I immediately slide out and immediately wall jump.

As soon as I'm hit, I'm holding left and mashing B to jump.

For the second boost, I slide out to the ledge and wait for the enemy to move once, and wait a split second for it to start its second dash. THIS IS CRUCIAL because if it's too early then it won't attack you early enough to send you to the ledge. If you wait too late then the enemy will knock you off the ledge before it attacks.
