The road from Lupus to the rest stop has one boss. Also, keep an eye out for additional red chests, since you'll eventually be locked out of areas south of Vaskia.

The boss can inflict confusion and deal a lot of damage, making it hard for your current party. Fortunately, Lang will join and has a really high level.
Turns out Lang only fought us before because the rebels hired her to attack us. Now they're hiring her to escort us, so she'll take us as far as Vaskia. You'll stop at Albeener on the way, where the doctor is based on an anti-vax meme.
