Last Scenario is a role playing game made in RPGMaker by SCF. A rather typical kind of rpg, but with enough twists and an interesting story to make the journey well worth taking.

Back in the Gate to Elysium to deal with the second to last boss there now that Zawu's gotten some training in. Good thing too because this boss is a real doozy.

This boss, the last of Alexander's so called allies, goes by the name Durile. While Xolon was all physical and Lucius all magical, Durile is a mixed fighter with both sides of her assault being equally powerful.

For magic attacks, she has the fire AoE Searing Firestorm and the single target earth elemental Stone Break. Both are powerful, but survivable without shields if you're in the high 70s/low 80s. Do be aware that Stone Break can inflict petrify though.

Her physical attacks though are where you're going to need to focus your defensive efforts. Her regular attack is comparable in damage to Xolon's, maybe even a pinch higher, meaning it's a one hit kill for most characters without a P-Shield active.

Her physical skills consist of Hurricane Arrow, a move that hits 6-8 times on randomly chosen targets, or Sniper Shot which brings a target's hp down to 1.

Finally...she's INSANELY fast. So much so that Zawu's really the only one that can outspeed Durile at these levels without resorting to speed buffing spells.

Hp wise, Durile clocks in with 125k hp.

Given how high Durile's hp is, you'd best come in expecting to be in it for the long haul. Enlight is practically a necessity here as is Cleanse's crisis ability. Sure it kills the user, but full hp/mp for the rest of the team is insanely useful.

As for Zawu, being faster than Durile means she can react as you see fit. Healing via Aquabeam spam with Gelatinous Coats on the team, X-Shield's crisis ability to keep shields up on the party, or even tossing items to those in need.

After a half hour battle on my end where I didn't have to tap into my Sacred Orb stash surprisingly, Durile falls and coughs up a ton of exp & gold. More importantly, the real reason I wanted to dive so deep into this dungeon lies with her drop, the Lord-Sorceror's Gown. It's a robe with very nice defenses, grants +50 intelligence...and halves ALL mp costs for the wearer. Say Lorenza, I think your endgame armor is calling!

Next time, we'll be saving the last boss in this dungeon and heading back out into the world to see what else is available to explore.
