There are a few different modes of play in Counter Strike: global offensive. The most popular is the Classic Competitive mode, which is what most people think of when they think of Counter Strike. There are also other modes like Arms Race, Demolition, and Wingman. In this guide, we will be focusing on the Classic Competitive mode.
Classic Competitive is the mode that is played in most professional Counter Strike tournaments. In this mode, there are two teams of five players each. One team is the terrorists, and the other team is the counter-terrorists. The goal of the terrorists is to plant a bomb at one of two bomb sites, and the goal of the counter-terrorists is to stop the terrorists from planting the bomb, or to defuse the bomb if it has been planted.
Each round in Classic Competitive lasts for two minutes and thirty seconds. If the bomb has been planted by the terrorists, the counter-terrorists have to try to defuse it in the last thirty seconds of the round. If the bomb is not planted, the terrorists have to try to kill all of the counter-terrorists before time runs out.
The team that wins the most rounds out of thirty rounds is the winner of the match. In order to win a round, the team must either complete their objective, or eliminate all of the players on the other team.
If you are just starting out in Counter Strike, it is important to learn the basics of each mode before you start playing. Once you have a good understanding of the different modes, you can start playing and enjoying the game more.
