In this part we purchase front row seats for the newest production at the Monarch Theatre (Bruce Wayne's favorite!), a fun little stage play called Joker the Immortal! Wait, that doesn't sound fun at all! We should probably...I dunno, throw a Batarang or something to stop this!

*konk* We did it! That was surprisingly easy! Usually this guy has an ace up his sleeve or something. I'm not gonna fall for a gag like that this time...wait a minute...oh...oh no.

Holy weeping Wayne's, Batman! What an ending! What a game! Where do I even begin after that!

The second installment in the Arkham series is considered by many to be the best of the lot, and by all accounts, one of the best games ever made...and honestly, I can totally see that! While my personal tastes have Knight at the top of that list, I can't deny this game's stunning level of quality.

Rocksteady did a remarkable job turning the foundation that they laid in Asylum into a beast of an open world game, with dozens of hours of content if you're hell bent on tracking down everyone on Batman's to-do list (something that we unfortunately did not have enough time for in this playthrough). Every aspect of gameplay has been refined, and improved since the last one and it really shows!

Combat is way more fluid, with a plethora of new moves at your disposal, and the same can be said for the Predator encounters as well! Arguably the biggest change that City adds is fully functional flight throughout the streets of Gotham and it is an absolute blast no matter how many times I play these games!

As for the story, while I do think the Protocol 10 storyline ends on a bit of a low note, the build up to it and pretty much anything involving the Joker are a treat to watch. Mark Hamill and his swan-song appearance as the Dying Clown Prince of Crime is a huge high point of the game and the ending is absolutely chilling thanks to his wonderful performance.

All that said, would you believe me if I told you that Knight is even better!? No? Well, to each their own! The last in the series may be one of the more polarizing but as far as City is concerned, it can't be denied that this game is something special and I can't wait to see what Rocksteady has in store for next. How about an open-world F-Zero reboot, with the Blue-Falconmobile and Arkham-based combat. WE DONT DESERVE A WORLD THAT WONDERFUL.

I hope you enjoyed the LP ;D
