While most quests we go on end in bouts of frantic melee combat and spell-slinging, not all of them start with the prospect of such on the horizon. The church of Helm has asked us to secure a commission from a prestigious artist that’s staying in the city, one who has caught the attention of many of the other churches seeking his services. That gold alone won’t pay for the artist’s services is readily apparent, else they would’ve paid for his time themselves rather than asking us to look into it. With that in mind, we should expect this seemingly mundane task to take a turn for the peculiar in quick order.

We’ve been given multiple courses of action in some of our quests and this one is no exception but while some have made the outcome of the choices readily apparent, this one is less easy to read. Making the wrong choice may not cause us to fail the quest, but it sure can make the effort of completing it more difficult or less lucrative, possibly both if we’re not careful. In the end we need to decide on the course of action that best matches what Terri would do regardless of if it’s the most optimal choice. I’m sure we can handle whatever consequences come our way because of that, at least that’s the hope.
