On the first episode of Let's Play Cold Fear, an unknown special forces team boards a Russian whaling ship only to be slaughtered by something on board. Their controller demands that they send in any other assets they have near the ship, and so a team of US Coast Guard is sent in in the dark. The team splits up, and as Tom Hansen we begin our investigation. The ship seems abandoned, left adrift in the mighty storm. It isn't long before we hear the rest of the team come under attack over the radio, and Tom makes his way to the ship's interior across the hazardous deck. Inside the ship, we come under fire from panicked Russians that we're forced to decapitate. The inside of the ship is a mess, with blood, bodies, and damage all over the place. As we head towards Lansing's position to retrieve the radio info, we read about some kind of creature, but it isn't until we find what's left of him that we see one. A very fast reanimated corpse comes at us with a knife, and outside we see the creatures attacking more Russians.
