Keen may have destroyed all the weapons on the vorticon mothership but the threat they pose won’t end until we go to their home world and deal with the Grand Intellect. It’s the Grand Intellect that is controlling the vorticons with mind belts, forcing the otherwise peaceful people to attack Earth for some reason. Only our ship is capable of getting to Vorticon VI and so it’s up to Keen and Keen alone to head to another alien world and fight once more to save Earth. No-one will know if he succeeds but everyone will suffer the consequences should he fail.

No pressure, eh?

Being that this is the third and final episode of this game, it’s safe to say that it’ll be the most difficult. Though it may be difficult to imagine how they can top the vorticon elite, let me assure you that they managed to come up with a more dangerous opponent that’s not just a re-skin of a previous foe made more dangerous. In fact we’ll be facing a lot of new things in this game that are all challenging but hopefully not too challenging. We’ll find out if that’s the case as we play and get closer to the final showdown.
