Let's Play Daymare: 1998 - Part 8
1We're back with Keen Sight's resident grumpy guy, Sam Walker, as he politely but firmly obliterates every infected standing between him and pyyric revenge.
I'll pontificate for a moment. I do deeply enjoy the art direction and gameplay, currently I only have one big issue with the inventory, and nitpicking issues with the tightness of the game and controls.
That being said, the story is *frustratingly* fragile. There's great *moments*, but I feel like the writers should have done two or three more drafts before finalizing the story. As it stands and as it plays *currently*, it feels like the devs were developing the maps *and* the story concurrently after Capcom flushed their original plans to make an RE2 remake, so rather than waste what they'd created, they slapped together as much as they could.
I'm salty at how much *could* be in the game, but I'm having fun.
