The fight with the four goons can be a bit rough if you don't put a few of them to sleep. They all have some kind of AOE attack that can do anywhere from 10 to 45(!) to your entire party and they also have some nasty status effects. If you do not have any Magic resistance then concentrate on the Rogue as he can cast Sizzle. If you have that covered (You can buy Magic Vestments from Alltrades or trade in tokens and purchase Magic Shields in La Bouvire for 5000G) then kill the Swagman first because he can confuse and put you to sleep.
