Lets Play Free Trial WoW - Troll Monk - Part 2
In this episode I do the entire questline in Northern Stranglethorn. I had a little exciting moment when running into a rare troll mob but luckily survived. By completing Northern Stranglethorn I also got 3 new achievements and I did a dungeon but I already did that dungeon with another character so I don't count the achievement for that dungeon as one since it was already claimed by a previous character.
Next time I think I will finish up with Cape of Stranglethorn and after that I had the plan to finish the 4 zones in Pandaria that level 20s can do but I think I will meet the same fate as my last character Yedeen if I put too much on my shoulders so as compromise I think I just do Jade Forrest and one Pandaria dungeon and then move to Draenor where my monk character Mezzidrel was supposed to go too.
Also in this episode I had a little rent about that with future character I want to change the two last conditions into something else. The thing is the last two conditions are about my character having his own home town or whatever but since I am playing adventurers in the first place who are always moving around, I don't think my character don't really need a place they can call home. Also in an expansion like Draneor this would be a problem since the home of every character is obviously their garrison and in Legion it might be their class hall or whatever it was called so yea I replace that condition. The last condition was to make every character claim their own armorset, pet, mount etc but first of all there are not that many armorsets that can be claimed by level 20s and second this condition was not much of a condition in the first place but more of an objective, goal or task.
Instead I think better condition are that every characters need to start in the startingzone of their own timeline if possible and finish all the quests belonging to that startingzone because it would be awkward if I suddenly decide to abandon my quests and move to a total different zone. My other new condition is somewhat connected to the other one and has to do that I want the zones in which I quest to be logically connected like geographically or with breadcrubs. For example at the end of Ashenvale questline you have the option to go to Stonetalon Mountains or get send to Northern Stranglethorn Vale if you don't feel like going to Stonetalon Mountain. However with my monk now I moved to Northern Stranglethorn right away with only the quest of the Warchief Commands quest form the hero board or whatever its called. This is not very likely that a charcter would go their right away from the startingzone. More likely and to also include my first new added condition it would have been more likely my monk character would have finished Durotar, then go to Northern Barrens, then to Ashenvale and then from there go to Northern Stranglethorn to to have more of a sense of achievement that I already proved myself in a few other zones and actually finished all of them before heading to a zone that at least in the past was somewhat of a challenging zone, mostly because of the PVP that was going on in Stranglethorn Vale at the time. Except for the nostalgic value that some zones had in the past that you actually had to build your character up before going there it is also more likely since in the past usually you would go to Northern Barrens after Durotar and then Ashenvale or Stonetalon Mountains anyway and now its a free for all which makes little sense to me and even though it was implemented into the game by Blizzard, in my opinion it is one of the reasons this game became less fun to play so at least in my own playstyle I am bringing back the old times.
I hope after this long explanation you get my point and why I think its better to change the condition into this.
Anyway as always thanks for watching and please subscribe and give me a like!
