Let's Play: Mega Man V - Part 2 - Liquid Metal Photons
Part 2 of "Mega Man V" (aka "Rockman World V") for the Gameboy, played through VisualBoyAdvance-M v1.8.
Defending the Earth from the Stardroids is no easy task, especially when they bring one that's basically a walking arsenal of weaponry! Mars comes with the Photon Missile, a deadly missile that remains stationary when fired before jetting forward at high velocity. That's not all he comes with, either. While he can't jump, he can roll forward at high speed, dropping mines behind him. That's not all, as he likes to fire miniature explosive bullets on top of all of this. He's prone to rusting though, so fortunately we have the Salt Water to make quick work of that design flaw.
After that is Mercury, the curiously strange liquid metal Stardroid. He represents the planet closest to the Sun, which explains a lot when his battle strategy involves turning into a puddle and sliding all over the place! The biggest threat with him is his evil, infamous Grab Buster. The Grab Buster will, literally, remove items from Mega Man's inventory, up-to and including Energy Tanks! Hope those dodging skills are up to snuff!
After repelling the forces from Earth, Terra becomes agitated and calls forth Dark Moon, a high-tech, near-futuristic version of the Yellow Devil. He comes with a few tricks of his own, but overall he goes down very quickly to the Photon Missile. Information is uncovered and it seems more Stardroids are on their way to Earth, so the best thing to do is modify Rush to go into space to attack them before they have a chance to do it themselves!
