With Yanagawa taken, Otto realizes that the Ryuzoji will be more of a problem than anticipated. Not because of their strategy and tactics, but simply due to their sheer numbers.
With the Ottogawan lords reeling from the constant warfare and the Kyushu campaign, they find themselves unable to push the Ryuzoji out of an area for good. After 3 Ryuzoji lords are defeated, 3 new ones simply seem to take their place.
