There's no escape from the Nod sniper.

OpenRA is an open source reimplementation of Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Dune 2000, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, and Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. An implementation of Command & Conquer: red Alert 2 is in the works.

OpenRA lifts assets from the original games, but makes various changes the UI and gameplay. Now, queuing and multiple queues for buildings and units are now possible, fog of war is present in addition to the shroud of war, and units of one kind can be selected with a double-click.

All original units are present, but various changes have been made to them. In OpenRA: Tiberian Dawn, all artillery have a greatly improved range, engineers can take over wrecked vehicles, and air units can lift the shroud of war.

The original Command & Conquer has been partially implemented, as have some of the dinosaur and special ops missions as well as Red Alert. Custom bonus missions are available too.
