Snake Pass is an indie game developed and published by SUMO Digital for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game launched on March 28, 2017. (March 29, 2017 in Europe and Australia.)
This is the same developers who made LittleBigPlanet, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and Team Sonic Racing. Some of the people at Sumu Digital worked for RARE, now owned by Microsoft Game Studios and Retro Studios, a Nintendo first-party developer. David Wise is popular for his work with the Donkey Kong Country games on Nintendo platforms.
FUN FACT: Snake Pass runs on Unreal Engine 4, making it one of the very first ever games to run on this engine on a Nintendo platform; this does not include Unreal Engine 3 or previous versions.
