The problem with marching towards Kyoto is is put us in striking distance to several major clans all allied behind the Shogunate. Chief among them the Bessho who's dominion over the west of Honshu makes them possibly the biggest threat to us, even more than the Tsutsui. We'll need more than just manpower to force them back.
