What was the longest 8-bit composition you ever heard?
Prepare to hear something really strange.
This is an excerpt from longest chip-tune in the world called LongPL/AYyer composed by your humble servant for ZX-Spectrum 8-bit computer and General Instrument AY-3-8910 sound chip.
Despite only 4 hours are shown with fast forward, predicted length of this melody without any repetitions exceeding 20 days! So it's alternative title is "Three Weeks in Hell".
Inspired by pieces like the Longplayer by Jem Finer (running for 22 years, targeting for 1000 years), Organ2/ASLAP by John Cage (longest attempt targeting for 639 years) and crazy creations of Bull of Heaven (their longest MP3 album is 3,343 quindecillions of years) my little piece however is more pleasant to ears (I prefer to think so).
I truly believe that nobody did anything similar before with old computers.

By the way, it's "4:33" by John Cage performed by ZX Spectrum:
