Mari 7.0 | The Bakery: Mesh Map Creation in Mari
This tutorial guides you through the Bakery, Mari’s new mesh map baking toolset.
You’ll learn how to set up recipes for baking maps such as Ambient Occlusion, Curvature, Thickness, Position, Normal, or Displacement. Recipes can be baked with various render settings, such as resolution and bit depth. You can apply different bake settings to individual recipes or apply settings to a batch. You can also add multiple recipes of the same type to bake different objects.
With the Bakery, Mari now has the complete set of tools to enable you to realize your creative vision. With the ability to quickly bake maps for multiple objects at once across multiple UDIMs there’s no need to disrupt your artistic flow - no need to leave Mari.
