Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a 2015 open-world action stealth game developed by #KojimaProductions and published by Konami. The game is directed, written and designed by Hideo Kojima, this game was Kojima's final work at Konami. This game is the ninth installment in the famous Metal Gear franchise and follows the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes which was a standalone prologue released in 2014.
The game is set in the year 1984 nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes and follows mercenary leader Punished "Venom" Snake as he ventures into Soviet occupied Afghanistan and Angola-Zaire border region to exact revenge on those who destroyed MSF and almost killed him.
The game also has Multiplayer features.
