Pre-release — http://assets.minecraft.net/1_8-pre/minecraft.jar

Below is a step-by-step tutorial for anyone confused:

1. Download the pre-release
2. Type "%appdata%" into the start bar, without quotations
3. Open up .minecraft
4. Open up bin
5. Paste the file you downloaded into this folder
6. Click the top button to replace it (if it already exists)

Launch your minecraft.exe as usual, that's it!
