There are a lot of different fish farms in videos on Youtube and some of them work and some of them don't. I found this one in a tutorial by NimsTV (don't know if he invented it or just showed how to build it). Anyway, I liked this one because it worked in 1.11 and it was very simple to build. So for you who want a fish farm that is cheap, easy to build and works in 1.11 I show you how it works and how to build it!
