Here's a very quick video explaining how to platform the tree outside of the Mist Noble's home in Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice.

The important part is lining up your jump with the right part of the tree branch, jumping at the branch, and then as you hit the branch, jumping again to land on the top of it. You then repeat the process as you head onto the roof.
