Modo 17.0 | Advanced Viewport and UI, UX Enhancements
64In Modo 17.0, artists will benefit from the advanced viewport's enhanced shading capabilities in their daily work. Key improvements include easier light visibility control, combining viewport and environment lighting, the ability to turn off textures while keeping material settings on, default activation of the PBR Loader, a 32-pixel edge bleed in baking, and enhanced wireframe drawing quality.
Plus, Modo's UI and UX will see significant enhancements. Modo 17.0 introduces a new crash reporter to get better data on what impedes users, and we’ve made multiple changes to the default settings in Modo to provide a better “from-launch” experience.
