The trailer for “Morbius” just dropped and it majorly references Spiderman. The new film, starring Jared Leto as the title character, will hit theatres on July 31st 2020 and it’s now been confirmed by the trailer that Spiderman exists in the same universe as the film. But it looks like the Spiderman referenced in the film might not be Tom Holland’s version of Peter Parker that has appeared in “Spiderman: Far From Home” and “Avengers: Infinity War.” Instead, Tobey Maguire’s classic version of the character from the 2002 film seems to be the one highlighted in the trailer.
