Mortal Kombat 2020 - One minute review (ish)

Oh crap its another video game movie.
This film, yes it has the gore but personally I think the 90s one is a better adaptation, this one goes all over the place and introduces a new guy nobody really wanted or really cares about, how are we supposed to like someone that seems to have a reputation for loosing fights?
Kano saves the first half of the film till the inevitable "Heel turn"
The training bits kinda reeked of Mortal Kombat Conquest with possibly the most faithful part of the film, where Kano falls for the constant leg sweep.

Urgh, Jax makes his naff metal arms go buff because cybernetics work like that, New guy basically becomes a power ranger with blades that cut, Sonya gets hers soon after and its not explained how she found them.
They could of been more interesting with New guy he is the "Son" on Scorpion, so why didnt he get any of his s**t?
The fights go all over the place, with fast cutting back and forth.
The whole tournament side of things is pushed aside.
Still, its not awful, its "Ok"
