Mission 02:
US Navy Intel is upset that we were not able to destroy the ISJAD held stingers. They are not entirely certain how the jihadis got these weapons; but we suspect they were purchased on the black market from the Mujaheddin fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan. Suspicions are that the agency has provided these assets to the Afghan fighters to drive out Soviet helicopters. Regardless, the white house wants them destroyed.
Naval Intelligence has recently heard that the Stinger missiles are on board a merchant ship, the Latanya, off the coast of Syria. You are to deploy from a submerged submarine, the USS Nyack, insert via Zodiac and look for the missiles on the ship.
Additionally, CIA is willing to provide a former informant code-named "Grey Owl" who may have additional information on ISJAD. We need you to forcefully "recover" him and bring him back for questioning.
Primary Objectives
1. Conduct a VBSS raid on the Latanya
2. Kidnap the CIA informant "Grey Owl"
Secondary Objectives
3. Destroy a ZSU-23 on site
