It's time to hit the road and celebrate 20 years of this arcade racing masterpiece that is a final farewell of the classic, Exotic-car NFS Legacy, with an incredible arcade/sim hybrid that remains timeless. The gameplay is not too drift-happy or crash-happy like Ridge Racer or Burnout, but not too realistic like Gran Turismo, Forza, and Project Cars, in fact, it takes the best of both worlds along with some depth to match. This is one racing game that is special to me because of it's unparalleled vehicle handling and exciting racing, and i'm always a big fan of the racing game concept where you have a lineup of the most iconic vehicles throughout history and you get to take them and push them to its limits, no crazy customization or gimmicky presentations, just a lineup of awesome cars, details about them, it's awesome simcade gameplay, and outstanding original music, that is what the classic NFS is, it was all about the cars, while Underground is all about street racing and customization, but it doesn't feel like NFS to me. Speaking of which, Hot Pursuit 2 was the farewell that nobody was expecting, a goodbye to it's original roots of Exotic cars and police chases and awesome original techno music, and diving into the world of colorful street racing with Underground, inspired by The Fast and the Furious. Once the radical change is made in November 2003, Need for Speed was never the same again. I do enjoy the awesome street racing of Underground and others, but of course the Classic NFS Legacy is special and unmatched, let us come together to keep the amazing Classic NFS concept and spirit alive, for all of us that loves sports cars across all eras and was all about driving them and experiencing the performance and mechanical activity of the most iconic sports cars ever made! You got a top time for this track!
