Safari Zone Philadelphia! Shiny Voltorb, Rufflet, New Raids & Research | Pokémon GO News #20
3Some more details have been revealed about the Philadelphia Safari Zone in Pokémon GO!
Trainers will have the chance to encounter Voltorb, Alolan Sandshrew, Unown P, Bronzor, Rufflet and more. Mr. Mime will also be appearing which gives non-Europeans that haven’t caught it a chance to catch it. Although thanks to previous events like the egg one they had a while back, I presume quite a few people have the Kanto regionals from outside of their own region.
Also, Shiny Voltorb will be available, and Rufflet will be available globally for all trainers before the event.
Just to remind you as well, the tickets go live this Monday, which is the 24th February, at 1pm GMT. The general admission tickets are $12, with early access tickets being $18. Early access tickets get to access the event gameplay early and receive two additional hours of gameplay.
As well as these two tickets, there is the City Explorer Pass available for purchase alongside them. It will be $8 and available for purchase only along with a Safari Zone ticket. It cannot be purchased after a ticket order is complete.
With the Pass you’ll be able to take part in City Explorer Raids, hatch Eggs faster through Philadelphia and access other exclusive bonuses.
10 City Explorer Raids on a 72-hour timer that will take place at iconic city locations that will be chosen by the City of Philadelphia. Access to these raids is included in the Pass so no Premium Battle Passes are needed.
Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres will be available in three 5-star raids.
Braviary will be available in a 2-star raid.
The Legendary and EX Raid Pokémon that are available in general will be appearing in two 5-star raids.
The other four Raids will feature one Raid Battle each from each level of difficulty from 1 to 4 stars.
The other bonuses include:
• 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators within the city.
• Exclusive Field Research tasks will be granted by PokéStops throughout the city.
• Regular Lure Modules will last four hours if placed by City Explorers within the city. All Trainers will benefit from those Lure Modules, not just City Explorers.
• And finally 1 hour Incense duration within the city.
The City Explorer Pass gameplay experience lasts the full experience, from May 8th at 6am to May 10th at 10pm.
