New Steam Recording Feature TEST [Read Description]
2Testing out the newly added Steam Record feature. So far seems to work quite well, however I've already ran into a bug. Sharing the clips with peoples on PC seems to work fine, but on steam deck you're unable to see the video (you can still hear it, but the video itself is a blank). Another bug I ran into is the game for some reason made a recording outside of the game (not of my desktop, but literally, the recording was made after the recording I've made, and I can't access it because it says that the recording has no frames. Which is odd, since it takes up 58mb.). Lastly, I don't know how to access the recording feature on steam deck, and I'm unable to record footage on that device as of right now.

After updating my steam deck, the recording, viewing, and editing of the footage works fine, it's the sharing that's once again broken. While I can receive and watch clips just fine, none of the ways for me to share my footage from the steam deck seems to work. Both direct message clip sharing and clip link sharing just give out an error message. Speaking of which, clip links and clip copies also seem to be broken on the PC side of things, weather not opening at all, or only showing the thumbnail. This feature is still very green, and I hope steam will receive this feedback.
