Multipoint is a scrapped game mode from the game Need for Speed: Most Wanted. It's commonly believed that It would have two similar game modes: "Cash Grab" and "Checkpoint Race". This would explain why we have two options for Multipoint Races in Quick Race selection on PS2 Demo. You can see it in my video at 7:45: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOP3ryKKuuA

So, seems that during the race (and despide the missing barriers), I was free to run around this area:

There were 3 kind of pickups in this race, each one giving a certain amount of $:
- The red pickup would give +$100

- The pink pickup would give +$500

- The grey pickup would give +$1000

If a stalemate happens, the timer gets replaced by the text "Sudden Death". However it is broken in PS2 Demo, which causes the player to instantly win the event. I guess it would work in the following way: if Sudden Death started, the player who gets more pickups during it would win.

Yet, something still bugging me: If I was free to run around and get as many pickups as possible before run out of time, why in the final game we have tracks texture of Multipoint races that has the layout of Sprints and Circuits?
Might we would get 3 varieties? Multipoint, Cash Grab and Checkpoint Race.
Why? Just look at gameplay.bin being opened with VLTEdit:

Both Cash Grab and Checkpoint Race are linked with Multipoint, so it's a base game mode. The same happens with sprint (p2p), which is a base game mode. We have Drags, Speedtrap and Tollbooth, which in all of them the player have to go from point A to point B, and yet they are different from each other.

So, I guess that the track 20.6.1 was more a Cash Grab than any of the other two game modes, however I can be wrong.

Considering that I'm correct and that the track 20.6.1 is Cash Grab game mode , the condition to win according to what we could see was to get more $ before run out of time.

While that, a theory is that in one or both of the two other game modes (Multipoints and Checkpoint Races) would have the following win condition: It would work the same as Cash Grab, however, instead of cash the driver would get pickups in order to get more time. The driver who has more time accumulated by pickups wins. However, I must remind you that it's just a theory based on the screenshot above (and on the text "Winner! Your time:").
