Dunno why he bugged out before, but now that the Speedster was properly active we set about beating him in three races. And...I surprisingly beat each race the first time around. Using the movement chips are crucial to get this done well, but also optimal routing as...well, he cheats. Because he flies, he can take the most direct route to the finish line while you have to navigate the terrain PRECISELY. Beating the third race is the most grueling in the game. If you don't navigate it correctly, you'll keep doing tumbles that slow you down. I managed to navigate it correctly and didn't do a single tumble and thus used maximum speed the whole way through. And did the jumps exactly. Nothing is worse than getting a solid lead only to fumble the race at the last second due to missing the jump badly.

But after that, we venture into the forest kingdom, tackle a few various quests and then have our first encounter with A2, thus making more progress in the story. Sorry if the past few videos were just quest related but I wanted to complete all of the side quests in one go. It's fairly useful.
