As mentioned I've been wanting to make a video like this for soooo long now and today is that very special day :P Keep in mind I am by no means a Nuzlocke master and do not claim to be one of the greatest Pokémon players of all time, I did however have an idea that I feel may provide a far more difficulty yet conclusive Nuzlocke experience than the norm, especially on the hardcore variant. Keep in mind this has been made purely for fun, I'm not claiming that this variant is better than anyone else's, I'm just providing another optional variant for the long list of already existing variants for Pokémon fans to enjoy, should they so wish

The origin story of this Zealocke variant is a very simple one, growing up I've always naturally played my Pokémon games in a specific way, I'd choose my starter as usual, but would ONLY ever catch Pokémon I knew would be with me till the very end. For the first few months of my Pokémon experience I didn't even know what the PC was and never needed to know since I would never catch more than 6 Pokémon in my entire run. Nuzlockes are all about creating bonds with your Pokémon, I figured what better bond can be achieved than committing to your small party of 6 for the entire game, and just like that the Zealocke variant was born ;)

As mentioned, I've listed the rules in text format below, should any changes be made to the rules for whatever reason, they'll be updated here as apposed to creating a new video every time haha:

* RULE CHANGES *

* * * The "Any Pokémon that faints" rule has been relocated to the "Pokémon Management Rules" since its previous location under "Core Rules" was causing an "Allocated" Pokémon confliction * * *

* * * Exp. Share specifically is now allowed since all modes come with level caps for Gym Leaders and the Elite Four anyway * * *

Core Rules 1:23

The player may use gifted, found and bought Pokémon obtained in-game provided the "first Pokémon in each area" rule is followed

No use of the Master Ball

No traded Pokémon

No mystery gift Pokémon
