I'll suppose I'll talk about why this was released way later on YouTube than other platforms. For one, I couldn't finish the video because the emotions I expressed in the song were still hitting me hard. A still image with no lyrics would not suffice for me, and as a result, this song wasn't on YouTube until today. A lot of what I felt when I wrote this song has faded away and I'm healing now, but I'd still like to share it with you all. Better late than never. And coincidentally, today is a fitting day for the video to be published. So it works out.
And to the recipient in the "abyss," I've learned a lot and grown stronger these past few months. It's been a year now since that day. I wish you good luck, and I wish you well. May you grow and reflect, too. I believe you will eventually see what I mean. I have faith in this.
