Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD - Battle Arena VS. Jaldabaoth [Mythic] Solo
5Battle Arena's adaptation of the "Demonic Disturbance" events, VS. Jaldabaoth is the final Battle Arena for the English version of Overlord: MASS FOR THE DEAD.
This Quest presents an increase in difficulty from VS. Kingdom [Mythic] and VS. Lizard Man [Mythic]; although it is similar to the latter by being only two Waves; split between four and three enemies, respectively.
Wave 1 features four [Followers of Jaldabaoth], and each are dangerous in their own right: Zeta is capable of inflicting Paralysis; Alpha boasts the most HP; Delta possesses the highest SPD and has a high critical rate; and Beta dangerously buffs her Party and possesses a powerful nuke in the form of her Blitz Flame skill. Yet, a Follower is missing...
Epsilon [Follower of Jaldabaoth], Jaldabaoth [Aggressive Grand Demon], and Shalltear [Masked White Lady] are in Wave 2. Jaldabaoth has very high DEF and resistances, although he notably possesses an elemental weakness to Light.
As such, consider using Shalltear [Bloody Valkyrie] for her powerful Purifying Lance skill (and complementary passive skills) against Jaldabaoth. Momonga [Perfect Warrior] is also an option, but he is in danger of being one-shot by Beta [Follower of Jaldabaoth] in Wave 1, and is in peril of Shalltear [Masked White Lady]'s Light elemental skills of her own in Wave 2, as well. The strategy in Wave 2 is to eliminate Shalltear first and as fast as possible, because her Mass Regeneration skill heals an enormous amount of HP overtime, and coupled with Jaldabaoth's debuffs, things can go awry very quickly for the Party. Epsilon is pesky, but she is not especially dangerous provided the debuffs from her Armor Breaking Stab skill do not accrue.
For Party composition, a Tank would be useful here, although they will receive enormous inbound damage during Wave 1 in particular. Thus, if a Tank is in the Party, consider selecting Chaos Relics that buff HP and DEF at minimum. Chaos Relics and/or Character skills that have nullify/immunity abilities can also be quite useful; such as Christmas in Nazarick, and/or Shalltear [Bloody Valkyrie in Love]'s Negative Impact Shield skill.
