Baran the Crusader, one of the Conquerors of the Atlas, is a boss you will fight many times starting from early endgame.

In this video I demonstrate the fight with commentary without trying to make the fight particularly fast.

Baran is encountered in a 4x4 grid arena composed of large squares. Fundamentally, the fight tests your ability to deal single-target damage while mobile.

His 'default attack' is similar to the player skill Storm Call, and is his most deadly move.

He also has Mana Runes - which electrifies the arena - and a very slow, very easily dodged slam. These are less dangerous than they appear. The cooldown on Mana Runes decreases as the monster level of Baran decreases.

If possible you may wish to link your movement skill to Blood Magic for this fight to assist with Mana Runes.
