Playing My Struggle Classes Until I Don't Struggle [Half Sword - Shield and Duel Wield Clips]
Half Sword Playtest Version 0.4 (Released 11/22/2024)
A lot more deaths in this one and will be going forward as well. I imagine it's more intense to watch knowing I could die in literally ANY round :D
I'm usually more of a two-handed weapon weapon guy, but this was great practice outside of my comfort zone. I'm still just having fun and learning the game like anyone else. I only practice because getting better makes the cool stuff happen more often. I'm a ragdoll and gore guy at heart after all.
For any activity I recommend against doing what's comfortable too early, or even FINDING what's comfortable as popular as that advice is. See what actually works and practice that until it BECOMES comfortable. If your goal is to improve don't "watch" other people, study them.
Even if you head down the wrong path occasionally you'll still learn a lot just by walking that path. The human learning process isn't as rigid as people think. Experiment, experiment, and then experiment. What was once finicky and complicated at one time will eventually become how you play in your flow state, and that's how you become clutch. At anything.
Hate stabbing? Stab every round for 50 rounds. Hate parrying? Parry 'til you puke. Develop a bad habit while learning new things? Well, you've already conquered the bad habit of playing comfortable all the time. Apply the same deliberate unlearning process to the new stumbling block and you'll still be left standing on your heightened skill floor when it's gone.
Learning how to learn is the ultimate skill.
I hope you enjoy, and thanks for stopping by! Thank you all for 500+ subs :D
