Here's a short video that I should get out to show that the project is still alive despite my usual lack of updates.

Anyways. Awhile back we switched how the game engine loads the text that NPCs say. The new (and old) system was incapable of utilizing what I'll call "text variables", which meant that I couldn't reference the character's name or his/her pokemon or whatever. Now, that's changed, with more to follow. The new new new NEW system will allow for custom names for the character, his/her pokemon, the rival, etc. Just as it should have been since the beginning.

Also, I decided to change the music up a bit. This is still Route 301, and it's extended! :o But instead of the same old music I've had in all of my other videos, I went with something else, Route 41 from Johto, ripped from Fire Red and touched up. I should upload the full song some time...
