Praggnanandhaa interview after he won the Polgar Challenge | ft. Nihal, Gukesh, Leon
A big result for Indian chess was Praggnanandhaa winning the Polgar challenge of the Champions Chess Tour. It was a round robin event with 20 of the most talented youngsters in the world of chess. Praggnanandhaa dominated the event and won it by a gap of 1.5 points. He scored 15.5/19. With this victory Pragg gets US $3,000 and also an entry into the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour April edition.
We had him on stream minutes after his victory and IM Sagar Shah interviews him. We also had other Indian youngsters doing really well - D. Gukesh finished third, Nihal Sarin was fourth and Leon took the 9th spot. It was wonderful to see all these four youngsters together in the tournament.
