Broadband internet speeds are growing steadily, and speeds of 1Gbps and more are becoming a commonplace. To accommodate these higher speeds, we are adding a new performance acceleration feature on Quantum Spark, named Smart Accel.


Smart Accel works by accelerating the processing of low risk, high bandwidth applications such as Zoom and Youtube. The performance gain depends on the traffic mix traversing the gateway, and may reach up to 30% or more.
