The last of the 3 missing #TF2 figures, we have the Sniper up for review today. Great sculpting, and good paint, the lack of sunglasses for the sniper really breaks his character, making him look unfamiliar.
Why #neca opted to not sculpt the glasses is a mystery, but it really harms the potential this figure had.

Accessory wise , we get the sniper rifle and that's it!. While it is a nice looking rifle, the missing SMG and melee weapon really brings down the value this character had. Swapping around weapons and parts is one of the most fun things to do with action figures, and the Sniper coming with just a rifle really brings down the fun factor.

The sculpting and paint is well done on this figure, everything looks straight out of the game, the paints are applied better then they were on other classes. The articulation is a bit lacking. The medic got double jointed elbows, something the sniper would have killed to have. Especially since he has a rather large rifle to carry.

I'f only recommend this figure if you were a diehard fan of TF2, or a sniper main. The value isn't there, and has low poseability, both factors in limiting fun.

*By the way, that mini jarate is a craft store mini jar, with water. The water was turned yellow by dipping a yellow marker into the water for a few seconds!
