We are back to my monologues in descriptions let's goooo

So. This level is literally fantastic and one of the best looking levels ever to have touched this game and its rated levels section. The idea itself is already insanely impressive, making all the backgrounds look like they are actually made of shapes and they all form a visible volumetric image per level section, that's literally fantastic. Not only that, but also Drift used his insane approach and attention to every single detail beyond understandable limits. Everything is as clean and detailed at the same time as it could ever be and I absolutely adore the looks of this masterpiece. ALTHOUGH. I absolutely hated playing the level. This gameplay is definitely not something I like and enjoy, being heavily focused on timings, at least that's what I was able to figure out. Even though the level has almost nothing to complain about, I've got one big problem with this - custom portals. Yes, they also look stunning like the rest, but my guess it that I'm not used to looking at 2-dimensional portals. I kept missing their hitboxes when practicing, and to be fair I'm not sure I remembered them at all during completion. Not only that but also all portals look very big compared to not only default portals, but also blocks and designs, I don't know why it bothers me this much but proportions wise this is a bit of a flop. Very detailed sharp backgrounds also clash with foreground in pretty much every part making it very hard to sight-read, and you really gotta grind those runs to learn click patterns and overall flow. I understand, of course, in a project this big there was pretty much no other options, so this issue is not worth complaining about, I just wanted to point it out. There are also a few sudden difficulty swings from like an easy demon to literal insanity, especially at the drop of a song, where you need to be extra precise to feel comfortable playing the level and at the same not forget about a single timing included. Also the entire part after the space one feels a lot harder than the rest, even compared to the space part itself, but the most deaths and issues were gotten at the very first UFO section. I don't know why but I kept dying there over and over again, even though it felt like I'm doing everything right, some gaps are just smaller than they could be to actually fly through them with hitting the timing before them perfectly fine. And it doesn't only relate to that one UFO part, but to the entire level more or less. I definitely felt quite frustrated dying to a lot of narrow spaces which I theoretically should have been able to slip through, but I haven't, and that drove me just a bit crazy. Adding not the prettiest song (in my opinion, of course) to this all and you get a pretty annoying experience overall. My guess is that this level was meant to be easier but just got a bit out of control difficulty wise. Either way I just can't blame Drift for this because it was one eternity he spent working on this level and putting as much effort into every single small detail of this level as physically possible, and the result is absolutely mind-blowing visually. Despite its poor gameplay management I'm definitely adding this level to my Favorite levels' list. Nothing more to say.
