In this video, Road Blasters, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by U.S.Gold.
Road Blaster is a simple game converted from the arcade coin-op by Probe under U.S.Gold license, where you pilot a super car armed with a cannon and you have to shoot everything that comes in your way. From checkpoint to checkpoint this is all you have to do and the only real danger you can encounter are the occasional mines you can find on the road.
Graphically Road Blasters is good, the scrolling is ok, the movement of the car is a little jerky, the sound effects are few and repetitive and the tunechip music is ok. The playability is the major flaw of this game because IMHO Road Blasters is boring to the death and too much easy. Simply try to remain on the road by taking your joystick and moving it right to left and vice versa and keep spamming the fire button.
