basically rewriting the whole thing to be faster and better. I didnt jump much or take explosive damage in this video but the screen quakes with impact. Much much more efficient on both the client and server, multiplayer capable, easy to mod! I changed the recoil patterns to be quicker and better looking.
Demon AI is much faster and along with the sprite renderer, the game can handle MANY more demons at once, allowing for horde-type modes. They're also smarter and faster and I had to put health pickups everywhere so I wouldn't die.
