Game description:

Run Silent, Run Deep is an unofficial simulation game based on the 1958 American black and white war movie of the same name, starring Clark Gable.

You are Robert Mitchum and are the captain of a destroyer and you have to find a submarine and sink it.

The submarine is submerged most of the time and you can only find it with the help of the sonar on the bottom right. Once found you have to guess how deep it is and send down a depth charge, but immediately move away from it or the ship will also explode!

The submarine will sometimes show its periscope and fire torpedoes at you, which you should avoid obviously.

Later levels also currents and mines as hazards.
