Here is a video with some tips of how to handle High Tide Glowflies on Spawning Grounds.

Make sure to NOT FLICK!

The less you move the less ink you consume. Refill by using the breaks to totally stand still. It's a slow refill, but still gives some protection.

Knock Backs are likely to experience - the better your teammates shoot at the Goldie, the less knock back. (yet they have to find a balance between eggrunning and shooting - so it can happen to get knocked back into the water. There is no one really to blame if it's still coordinated..

Be prepared for Chums/Goldies passing by the roller and "breaking through" - it can happen - there is no guarantee to avoid it.

Roller increases the chances of winning High Tide Glowflies A LOT if done properly - yet it's not a guaranteed win.
