Since Mageron feared he would be blamed for allowing the Empire to be invaded, he commited to the pursuit of the child god, Gracia, and the Staff of the Elbesem in an attempt to redeem himself for his failures . To that end, he dispatched an Imperial army after the Julian battalion.
However, thanks to the leader of the Resistance - Scholar, the Julian battalion was able to make their escape. Through the perils of the Ohora hole and the Dragon Graveyard, they emerged and managed to reach the border.
They succeeded in storming Bariere Fortress, which was considered to be invincible, and reluctantly defeated the patriot General Defenda.
Now they must hurry towards Aspia along the Continental shore...
