Recently Capcom put out a statement where they take it that Games mods, or games modification, is considered as cheating.

This caused many people to backlash at Capcom for their statement, though I can also see why stated as so. But I also agreed that the way Capcom is also not very right, and so I thought I would highlight both sides for the gamers and the developers.
