My parents taught me we must never burn bridges because you never know what holds in the future.
Who knows, you might need help from someone you hate a few years later. So when you and someone don’t get along, you should keep a distance instead of getting into a fight.
I used to think that makes perfect sense, never burn bridges was once my motto. We really shouldn’t make enemies after all.
Well. I’ve been in the workforce for a while, had plenty of regrets in my career.
But if you ask me what my biggest regret is, that would be me not having the courage to burn the bridge with my ex-boss.
