Space Engineers 2023 Loading Crates In Bad Weather
Fireworks to commemorate this moment?
Actually I needed the lighting... lol
You'll note the cargo ship is much too far away for the arm at present, this is because we didn't want to ruin the dock (yet) and in this weather parking at the dock is a chore. I definitely want to make a small block crate factory as well, but so far this is going really well.
The large block crate has a cargo container, a battery, and obviously the hind end of a merge block... that might become important later.
If I try to use the "factory" in survival I can use a block welder to actually build the crates, and have a crusher/grinder box to recycle materials needed for building them. The crates are too heavy for the skid loader... which sucks because it works great on smaller block crates.
Now I can focus on a destination... maybe an underwater one? That sounds like an interesting challenge. A Sea Lab with maybe an elevator for the crates to be brought down or something?
The alternative might be orbital deliveries, as I have an ISS-2 base in orbit right now already.
Time will tell, and I may do both because, why would I not?
