Spelunky real ending longplay
4Finally, I managed to finish the real ending and capture it. I've done this once already long time ago but didn't thought of capturing then (also finished once in my PS Vita too). I must have been playing over a thousand times and only less time than the fingers in my hand did I reached the final boss.
There are some bloopers here, funny moments or extremely lucky moments (one wrong player position and I would be toast). It's a miracle I survived and finished the damn thing again.
16:44 - Oops! I dropped my pickaxe over spikes. Maybe I can bomb it out? Then it flies just over my head to my side. Thank you!
27:28 - After I bomb Anubis skillfully, I am between him and the lava, he blows up and the scepter just flies over my head. Two alternative would be 1)I get hit by the scepter and thrown into the lava. 2) The scepter, which is necessary to get the real ending, just flies right into the lava. Neither of these happened, too lucky!
32:12 - This is the part where I was screaming while this was happening and yet I was crazy lucky! This hawk character throws me on the left wall, I thought normally that's it as he would do this in a loop while I am stunned and just die after many hits. Then, he decides to throw me at the other side, which is a pretty bad idea as I would be stunned dizzy unable to control my character while the big block of gold would smash me to bits. But no! I bounce on the left side of lower blocks, then on the right side of lower blocks, just as the big stone block jumps up and I go under it!!! One different state, maybe if I hit against the lower blocks and fell unconscious just right under him, that was it! That was crazy luck and I SCREAMED!!!
35:56 - I miscalculated and the big block of gold (I think he is called Olmec) was a bit on the right side. I barely escaped into the door over the lava, on the right side of sinking Olmec! That is on the very edge!!!
37:28 - That is a funny (and nervous) sequence where I am trying to blow a lot of blocks so that it makes it easier to get the cape. But the cape or two capes or three capes fall always over the spikes. I can't just jump there to get it (unless I had the cape to slowly fall, ahh the irony). But then I blow them wasting more and they fall into further spikes. At the end I wasted so much bombs, not knowing that near the exit there is another cape in a relatively safe block anyways.
